Instagram added multiple features to its app that serve a myriad of purposes.

Users can now create business and creator profiles. Creator profiles cannot buy ad space or schedule posts but then can have access to advanced features like unfollow analytics and filtering DMs.

Speaking of DMs, Instagram DMs can now be written on Facebook. Now, anyone can write DMs on desktop as long as they have a Facebook account. DMs are not limited to mobile anymore. Branded content ads are another new update. Businesses can now create an Instagram ad from a creator’s post.
