Brooklyn Native, Redeemed began rapping at the age of 12 when he ministered his first song on an Easter Sunday at his home church. In his early adolescent years, like many teenagers, he succumbed to certain social pressures which caused him to sway back and forth with secular and
Gospel rap until he realized that God wanted to use his gift for the kingdom of God ONLY. In 2006, Redeemed was later licensed a minister at the tender age of 17, where he began preaching the Gospel of Jesus. Utilizing his gifts and influence for the mighty work of God, he now has
mastered the skill of fusing his preachings into rap and continuously spreading the word through Christian Hip-Hop. His songs like “Brooklyn Fever” and “Never Fails” have resonated with so many individuals that they have made placements onto playlists like, “The Gold Sound,” $ubtle
But Major|USA,” and “New Music Friday Christian” on Spotify and have been featured on Hot 97’s Street Glory by Heavy Hitter DJ Tony Tone.
Redeemed has been honored to utilize his gift of words in many local assemblies and even nationally. He appeared on the Word Network’s Broadcast entitled “The Empowerment Encounter”, hosted by internationally renowned Pastor, Dr. Jamal Harrison Bryant of Baltimore, Maryland, where he was able to share his gift of rap during their live broadcast. Redeemed released his first single in December of 2015 entitled “Crown of Glory”. His anticipated debut project “Survival Kit” was released on October 13, 2017. Redeemed is also the co-producer of the theme music for BET’s new hit drama, “Carl Weber’s: The Family Business.” The Christian rhymer continues to thank God for open doors and believes that now more than ever is the time to empower the World with the Power of the Word!
