Dee-1 Receives Huge Honor From Governor Of Louisiana

Dee-1 has been on fire. Late last year the NAACP honored him with the ‘Power of Influence Award’ for his excellence in preaching and pushing positivity to the culture. Then just a few weeks ago, he was selected to create the New Orleans Pelicans’ hype song for the season.

For years, Dee has been making an impact in his community and those around him, and the Governor noticed as well. Governor John Bel Edwards appointed him to the “Louisiana Council for the Success of Black Men and Boys.” The former teacher, current rapper, will be using his creativity, resources, and ideas to impact “Black Men and Boys.”
