“GKP Sounds” is an event, mobile DJ and Radio Personality. His roots began on the sunny tropical Caribbean Island of Trinidad & Tobago; naturally, his musical taste and styles are heavily influenced by the rhythmic sounds of the Caribbean, but as a true professional, he appreciates and can “rock” any musical genre.
GKP now a resident of NJ, USA, fell in love with Deejaying back in Trinidad during his teenage years while hanging around his friend’s DJ set. His interests evolved into Radio DeeJaying/Broadcasting and was heavily influenced by some of the biggest and brightest names in the Radio industry in the early 90’s into early 2000’s such as the late Casey Kasem, Rennie Bishop, Ian ‘D Goose’ Eligon, O’Brian Haynes, Tom Joyner, Ryan Seacrest to name only a few.

(1) Disc Jockey/Radio Announcer at Radio Caribbean Tempo 105.1 FM (Trinidad & Tobago) (2001-2002)
(2) Disc Jockey/Radio Announcer at Radio Volcri 98.4 AM (Fondi, Italy) (2009-2010)
(3) “GKP Sounds” (2004 – Present) Providing musical entertainment for numerous charitable and paid events such as The US Military, Fashion Shows, Churches, Weddings, Birthday Parties, Corporate Events, and more.
Past projects:
From 2015 to 2017 GKP Sounds hosted two successful syndicated internet radio shows that reached a worldwide audience of over 4K listeners between the ages 18-49+. On Friday evening from 6-8 pm and Saturday mornings from 9-12 he could have been heard, simultaneously, on Star 99.3 FM NY, Island Star Radio, Elite Radio NYC, Fortress Radio, Peppersauce Radio, and Crazee Flava Radio.
Latest projects and direction:
After a yearlong hiatus of prayer and seeking the Lord’s direction from 2017 to 2018, GKP Sounds was mandated by God to leave his past projects, “step out of the boat” and launch his own radio station and own brand. RADIO w GKP-FM, while still in its infancy, is already blazing the trail and fast becoming a household name for gospel music entertainment in the Caribbean diaspora and beyond, amassing over 1600 listeners in 100 countries in one year.
