Nucci spits story bars about witnessing to someone sent by old friends to kill him “they putting money on my head, go get your refund I ain’t dead!” The track transitions to Jim Jones telling a church story of getting in trouble for spending his church clothes money as a kid. “Overflow” bangs in with hard drum rolls over a chopped up sample of “Fill Me Up by Tasha Cobbs”, Nucci rhymes about the streets, people doubting him, and the holy ghost fill up needed to deal with life, this track is tuff! “Pass Me Not” is a smooth bass flow beat with classic vibing horns as the church sings “Savior don’t pass me by”, Reyo gives the listener a visual depiction like your traveling down the block and you can see all the people that are trapped in sin and need Jesus, will the lord pass them by? On the next skit, Jim Jones reminisces about the traditions he keeps and the good times had going to church with his friends. Title track “This Far By Faith” ft Eric Roberson is an upbeat melodic rhythm celebrating the journey of faith, the hurts we go through, and we make it by leaning on the Lord.
