2018 GMA Dove Award winner, Stellar Gospel Music Award winner, two-time Billboard Music Award nominee and GRAMMY® Award-nominated singer, songwriter, actress, author, businesswoman, and motivational speaker Jekalyn Carr’s, faith-filled winning season continues to be a beacon of inspiration and motivation for all nations. Carr’s second radio single “It’s Yours” has cracked the Top 10 on multiple radio charts this week; leaping from 14-6 on Billboard’s Gospel Airplay and jumping 12-10 on the MediaBase Gospel Radio. This marks Carr’s second radio single to crack Top 10 on both charts this year.
On the heels of winning her first GMA Dove Award for Traditional Gospel Album of the Year last month from her second consecutive Billboard No.1 live project One Nation Under God (Lunjeal Music Group), Carr recently performed at the Woman That Soar live taping event in Dallas, TX hosted by Tyra Banks and also featured performances from Common and Fantasia.
Additionally, Carr made her big screen acting debut with a cameo in the faith-based independent film “Never Heard” this month, which starred David Banner, Romeo, Kandi Burress, Robin Givens and more.
