Top 15 Most Anticipated Christian Rap Albums Of 2021


2021 has just started and is set to be another year full of releases from CHH artists. Rapzilla has gathered information about upcoming releases in 2021, and these are the most anticipated releases for the upcoming year.

**Note: The albums with official titles are toward the front because we have more information about the projects.

15. Aaron Cole Untitled Album

With three double-singles releasing in 2020, Aaron Cole is set to release his second album via Gotee Records in 2021.

14. Hulvey & Torey D’Shaun Untitled Album

Hulvey and Torey D'Shaun

Up-and-comers Hulvey and Torey D’Shaun are set to debut their joint project in 2021. The project was officially announced by Hulvey on Rapzilla’s Pen Game 101 and the duo seems to follow the route of legendary rap group OutKast.

13. nobigdyl. Untitled Album

nobigdyl. was one of the most consistent artists in 2020, releasing three singles, a chopped and screwed album, and a Christmas EP. It seems like time for dyl to release a full album in 2021, the follow-up to his 2019 project LOWERCASE TAPE.

12. Datin – CHH Ain’t Dead 2

The follow-up to Datin’s 2020 acclaimed CHH Ain’t Dead album is set to release in 2021. And let’s see what crazy combination of rappers he has on these tracks.

11. DJ Mykael V – A Star in Daylight

Christian-hip-hop’s favorite DJ is fresh off the release of two singles, “Poolside” featuring NOT KLYDE and Lil Xian, and “Lay Low” featuring nobigdyl. and Starringo, and is set to release his debut album A Star in Daylight in February 2021.

10. Swoope – Untitled Album

Swoope’s first release since his 2018 album Sonshine is set to release in 2021. On Twitter, he named it his best album to date.

9. Rockstar JT – Streets Signed Me Vol. 2

Rockstar had a solid 2020 with the release of three singles, all of them with the likes of nobigdyl., Tedashii, and Torey D’Shaun. Streets Signed Me Vol. 2 is set to drop in early 2020 and has features from Social Club Misfits, Hulvey, Scootie Wop, and DJ Mykael V as JT shared in an interview with Rapzilla.

8. Canon – Loose Canon Vol. 4

With his last album release being Home in 2018, Canon is set to release the fourth installment of his Loose Canon series.

7. GAWVI – Noche Juvenil

After the release of his successful third studio album Heathen in March 2020, GAWVI is set to release his Spanish project Noche Juvenil, which means youthful night or young night, in January 2020.

6. Jon Keith – Live from the Vllg

Live from the Vllg is set to be Jon Keith’s debut album after parting ways with Kings Dream Entertainment. It’s planned to follow a mixtape dropping in June and should be out before the end of 2021.

 5. Derek Minor – By Any Means

By Any Means is set to close Derek Minor’s four-part Up and Away series. In an interview with Rapzilla, Minor shared the project has been done for two years and was held up by a producer. It should see the light of day in 2021.

4. Lecrae – Church Clothes Vol. 4

Church Clothes Vol. 4 is set to wrap up Lecrae’s career and his fan-favorite Church Clothes series, marking his final project release. The project isn’t clear when a release will be but has been teased through social media.

3. Hulvey Debut Album

Coming off a very strong 2020 and start to his career, Hulvey is geared up to release his debut album in 2021. On Rapzilla’s Pen Game 101, he shared he scrapped an album and started from scratch to make his debut album one to remember.

2. Andy Mineo – Neverland 2

While sharing he has three projects lined up to come out in 2021, Neverland 2 is speculated to be one of those projects. The follow-up to his 2014 EP Never Land, this project has been teased since 2017 and on his 2020 single “Jackson Pollock,” Mineo shared: “Neverland 2 gotta drop that soon.”

1. WHATUPRG – New Hollywood

New Hollywood, the highly anticipated debut album of WHATUPRG, is finally set to release in 2021. The album was supposed to release on September 25, 2020, but has been pushed back to 2021. With a quiet 2020, RG is set to drop his first album as an artist.
