Born as Calvin Lee Williams Jr., Supe grew up with very little luxuries that many of his peers had the opportunity to enjoy. At a very early age, he was introduced to music by the way of church and the family’s local legendary gospel group, The Wayside Gospel Singers. As he got older, he and his younger brother Arnold a.k.a Sleepy began to indulge in rapping and eventually became very well known with their two cousins, Willie Jennings (Kaos) and Antonio Jennings (Pup) as the Blak Katz. Sadly, things didn’t work out and the group disbanded. As the years passed and the booth collected dust, Supe battled with his desire to blow the dust off of the mic and get back in the game, but something was different…
It was through prayers and deep conversations with God that Supe realized
that this truly is his calling, but not in the ways of the past. Supe has now begun to reach out to the masses by incorporating the true Word of God in his lyrics to inspire and bring hope!! He has performed in countless venues and states (SC, GA, VA, OH). His first single “Prayed For Me” (ft. KJ) is an inspiring song, that gives tribute to the power of a mother’s prayer. He is currently signed to Devine Records Management and Enon Music Group debuting his newest single, “Walk It Like I Talk It”!!
When asked what he hopes to accomplish this time around, Supe states, “through the truth of transparency, I hope that people will see God as He truly is… unconditional Love…. #watch Godwork
